what’s good, kimberly?
The Princess Project Los Angeles had a wonderful visitor come by our giveaways and created a wonderful video showcasing TPPLA, our partner, Violence Intervention Program and the California Miss Amazing pageant. Kimberly’s heart is to inform viewers of organizations and volunteer opportunities that will help them to find and fulfill their purpose in this world as we are all destined to help one another and aid in the healing of our own communities through volunteerism. Her series takes an in-depth look into the world of volunteerism through interviews and behind the scenes of various volunteer experiences. To see all of her videos, visit our press and partnerships page.

we are building a new board of directors
The Princess Project Los Angeles is now entering its third year in Los Angeles and we are so thankful to our wonderful board of directors for founding this location and for spending the last two years building The Princess Project here in LA! Our current President, Jeri Devereaux, is moving in late April of next year and we are recruiting for her position so she can mentor a new president as well as other board positions! Please see our volunteer opportunities page to read about each position and email us if you are interested in applying for one of the positions! We would love to have you be part of The Princess Project Los Angeles’ leadership!

committee members and phone warriors needed
If you are looking for a volunteer position within The Princess Project Los Angeles but aren’t ready for a leadership position on our board, please consider joining one of our committees. If time is a factor, we are also recruiting phone warriors who can help us find sites, solicit donations and gift cards from area stores and more. Please see our volunteer opportunities page for more information!

formal wear drop off locations needed
Calling ALL Los Angeles businesses! Would you like to be a The Princess Project Los Angeles’ formalwear drop-off location? It’s so simple. First, contact us and let us know you want to be a drop-off location. Second, we will contact you, come into your business and work with you to provide a way to collect and keep the dresses. Third, we will schedule once or twice a month pick-ups so you’re not overwhelmed with donations. And finally, we provide you an accounting of the number of donations you’ve collected for us! Drop-off locations are needed all over the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

financial donations needed
The Princess Project Los Angeles cannot survive on taffeta, tuxedos, and accessories alone. Our operating budget is around $10,000 per year and will increase as we continue to outreach to meet the sheer number of teens who have need in Los Angeles county. Any donations you can make will help so much. Please go to our donate page for more information or click here to donate via PayPal.

prom dress, tuxedo and accessories donations needed
Have a prom dress, bridesmaid dress or tuxedo hanging out in your closet? Have some wonderful accessories for teens including jewelry, ties, bow ties, cummerbunds, gloves or other accessories that are prom appropriate? Please visit our donations page and find a drop-off location near you or contact us for a pick-up!
